Nocturne attempts to track and intervene in the progressive cycle of domestic vegetation’s development. Presented as a phantasmagorical sequence the work portrays the ebb and flow of growth and decay.

The sculptural aspect of the work is in contrast to the monitor based sequence in that it attempts to hold the vegetations growth, referencing traditional still life painting, the idea of static nature, holding on and trapping time.
